Water Safety Info

A copy of this information packet was sent to residents/land owners of Southern Goliad County, where the Goliad County Groundwater Conservation District (GCGCD) has tested and noticed elevated levels of Arsenic in water levels. The EPA does not have regulations for "private wells" but the GCGCD uses their standards for Municipal water. The GCGCD encourages residents/landowners to have their wells tested.
If you have any questions or concerns about the information provided, please contact our office or you may come to a public meeting held every third Monday of each month at 5 pm.
A copy of the information packet is available for viewing below in PDF format.
